What a piece of work. This place sucks. I'm not surprised after seeing 4 previous Yelpers giving a review of 1 out of 5 stars in a row just before this one i'm just about to write.. Okay.. so this is probably my 3rd time coming here. It's a convenient location for me since it's close to where I live.. I arrived Sunday. It was packed. The clock just ticked 12 noon as soon as i walked in the door. The place was packed. Long line of people already. I managed to get to the bagel counter and a girl asked for what I wanted. I ordered a Chicken & Swiss sandwich. She looked perplexed and didn't know what the hell i was talking about. I was getting an order for my friend, which I happened to call and ask him, and he said that they had it there. So I then saw on the menu that the Chicken, Bacon & Swiss cold sandwich was right above her head. I pointed it out to her and then she was like.. "ohhh.. that one.." umm. yeah. I'll have that please. So she proceeded to take the rest of my order and then I went to pay.. There were at least 9 teenagers running around behind the counter. Putting all of the bagels that previous customers have ordered on a pile. It wasn't a pile anymore. It became a mountain. There were times when 5 people were making sandwiches.. and then just one person. The guy microwaving the sandwiches wasnt even wearing plastic protective gloves when handling the food. Which was a turn off. There was one pretty girl that had an "FML" facial expression the entire time. LOL. I could tell she really loved her job there... One of the cashiers there, he looked like he didnt give a shit at all. There was one female supervisor there.. she was young.. but i dont think she had the capability to manage the store. She was just there doing her job.. i think... but she was nice. Anyways.. the line slowly made progress. Lots of orders after me received their foods. Wtf. I only ordered 2 bagel sandwiches. That's it. And do you know how long I waited in line for? THIRTY FUCKING MINUTES. i timed it. Really? ......really? That fucking long? ..a customer ahead of me was surprised to see me still waiting and said to me: "dude! you're still waiting? what the hell is going on? i hate this place.." Well i ended up receiving my 2 bagel sandwiches after that 30 minutes. By the time i got home.. just 5 minutes away.. both bagels were cold, even though i wanted them toasted.. the chicken in the chicken, bacon & swiss sandwich was HALF RAW.. and my friend said he felt sick after eating that..... my bagel was just blah.. cold.. I was glad to see a survey link on my receipt.. because I most definitely gave my best constructive criticism to this place on what happened and how they should improve on it. I also contacted corporate on their website and told them a little summary of what happened (which you just now read). In both my survey comments & complaint to to corporate.. I mentioned that this was my LAST visit to this store ever.. and I would drive to a better Einstein Bros Bagels location that was an hour away than come to this place.. and i'd probably be still waiting in line for my food too by the time i came back from the other location. So yeah.. i highly recommend not going here. Just go to Panera Bread in Miramar. Oh..... and a couple of days after I emailed corporate Einstein Bros.... I received a personalized response from someone there saying that they will investigate what happened by contacting the manager of that store (and most probably visit it too) to see what's making that place so shitty. NOTHING could convince me to come back to this place.. even if you give me a year of free bagel coupons.. i'd end up using it at that Einstein Bros an hour away from me..

One star for coffee and service, other for good bagels. Food: don't order anything with egg. Please. For the safety of you and your loved ones, refer to my pictures for the gelatin, slimy, alien like yellow blob they consider 'egg'. Any egg sandwich should come with informed consent and mandate a signature before consuming. I've always loved Einstein bagels and continue to try and give them a chance with their grub, but this was me and my husband's last and final straw. Will only venture here for coffee from this point on. What a shame...

The bagels are good, but I've been here twice and both times they've given me the wrong order. The first time I told them, they made me feel like I was being dishonest. So the second time they messed up my order I sat in my car and ate the bagel, silently fuming, and wrote this review.

The bagels are great, the coffee is good, the shmear is excellent. The service is friendly unless you show up within an hour of closing time. When they say they close at 5, that means they lock up the store and leave at 5. They start cleaning and putting everything away an hour beforehand and the place looks closed. I ordered a coffee a half hour before closing time once and felt guilty because I realized they had already cleaned the machine. Kind of an odd experience since I felt I was the inconsiderate one.

If NOT for the Nice Employees. We would have all left. The coffee was very good, has it usually is at this place. Of course it was super busy because it's in the shopping strip mall and the customers looked miserable. Lots of people complaining about everything and anything... My sister and I just kept making jokes while we are sitting at the little table. Could not help in amazement or maybe shock, to see how many awful people. Where there on Sunday morning, we generally felt bad for the employees. mayyyybe The FOOD HAD Something to do with it. The eggs looked like what I call hockey puck eggs. But kind that come out of the mold. I asked for some Nova salmon. Should have taken a pic. But all my reviewing, etc. things to get on his nerves. Well... When it comes to my yelping. Like Rex said to Scarlet O'Hara in gone with the wind. -hope some a few very very younger yelpers. Know what I am talking about. I generally either think to myself or say"Frankly my dear I don't give a damn". Bought yesterday morning kind of wanted to not, miss behave too much. I'm strong-willed, especially when it comes to yelp. Well, I enjoy it and I feel like I am helping out the community, definitely we will not be back to this place. However we did meet some nice people my sister and I when we stepped outside with our coffee. I generally enjoy giving 4 or 5 Stars. But, lesson learned should have checked yelp before we just stepped into the closest shopping center to where my sister lives in Pembroke Pines. Do yourself a favor check yell before you go spend your $ and Also Save Yourself Some Aggravation:-) Life's too short. YELP FOR A GOOD TIME. By The way, three of us ordered food. And all the food had to be taken back to the counter with things missing, and things not prepared correctly. Most people are hungry when they wake up. Maybe that explains the grumpy people waiting in line for the Java and for FEEEED MEEE! Keep On Yelping!

This place is a disaster, probably the worst run bagel shop in the universe. Long lines due to the slow employees and they always get the orders wrong. If you see yourself in front of this place for some reason, just turn around and walk away plz.

The overpriced, overpriced, overpriced. The bagels actually are not that bad, but the customer service here isn't the best and anything other than the bagels leave a bad taste in my mouth and a bad feeling in my stomach. I think there are other places you can get bagels (for much less $ too!). I don't recommend this place. Listen to the two reviewers before me.

Saw a roach last weekend at this location. It seems as though this location is very dirty and run down. Management should do something about this.

I was raised on decent bagels from neighborhood bagel joints in whatever city we were living at the time. We didn't have any bagel chains that I can remember. Just point me in the direction of a local jewish deli and I'm set... unless of course I am in a rush and need to grab a quick bite and need a spot to sit to rummage through some papers. Einstein to the rescue.... Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Simple menu. Fair prices. Friendly faces taking orders and prepping my food. I ordered a couple bagels toasted with nothing on them (yeah yeah, I can be a bore sometimes but I like simple things). Asiago cheese bagel was excellent and cinnamon raisin bagel was good, but the asiago cheese bagel stole the show. They offer plenty of spreads and sandwich toppers, as well as bagels offers (such as a bakers dozen with your choice of two containers of spreads for $14). They also had specially coffees beyond the normal cup of java. I went with the regular cup of joe; which they have a self serve area with various coffee blends (decaf breakfast blend, light and sweet for me). The bathroom was clean enough, but tight is an understatement. Be careful not to get bumped by the door opening if you are at the sink. I got walloped by an incoming bathroom guest. The staff was very friendly... and honest I should add. I paid with cash, got my change and sat down to wait for my order. 5 or 10 minutes later I was sipping my cup of joe when the guy behind the counter came to my table to apologize and said he realized he accidentally shorted me a "quarter" and handed me my missing spare change. Not a lot of money but a huge appreciation of his honesty and apology. I still prefer a traditional bagel shop but Einstein worked well on this day. UPDATE: holy moly, eight reviews before me were all one star... but quite honestly I had no experience resembling any of those negative reviews

Worst Breakfast Sandwich Ever!! I only went there because I was too lazy to cook that morning. I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese bagel. The bagel wasn't too bad actually. The amount of egg I got in the sandwich looks like it came from a quail. Legally they shouldn't be able to say "bacon" in the description. What they put in the sandwich is pitiful. Never again.

Not great. Not bad. Only order bagels early in the morning. Freshly baked so no issues. Muffins and other pastries not as fresh.

I happen to love Einstein's, but my experience at this one was TERRIBLE. The employees are the worst and the restaurant is filthy. Also, I am not a health freak or anything, but I read more and more about the harms of microwaving food in plastic, especially over and over again. They use the same cheap plastic cups to make the eggs for sandwiches, one after another. They also NEVER have a good bagel selection. I have been denied PLAIN a few times. I'm done. Never again.

Slower than molasses! The food here is great! Everything I have ever had here is delicious, BUT the service is HORRIBLE! They are SUPER slow! On the weekend, expect to wait! On the weekend there seem to be a good number of people working, but they are not efficient. In addition to waiting for your food, be prepared in trying to find some place to wait. When this place is busy, there isn't much room to wait. I always feel like I am in someone's way when I wait. The other EBB (Weston and on University/Pines) are awesome and I never have a problem, but this place is horrible! Good luck!

I love Einstein bagels in the Gables. This one was a disappointment. There was a long wait, poor service. Staff spent their time texting instead of taking care of their customers. The bagels were hard and burned. I will never return there again.

Two bad experiences in a row, so never again will I go! We came by around 1 pm on the 4th of July (Sat). The manager was sitting at one of the tables, eating. We were the only ones in the store and the employees were goofing off a bit behind the counter. We ordered the new chicken bagel wraps. I discovered with one bite that mine was still cold inside, so we gave them back to be reheated. The employee then showed us that they were burnt after reheating and asked us if we still wanted them (?)! We said no and the manager told them (from her seat across the store) that it was because they stuck both in the same microwave, but didn't bother to get up to rectify things. They offered to give us new ones, but only had one of the cheddar ones, so we had to switch our order to one cheddar and one swiss. While they heated up the replacement sandwiches, we saw the girls behind the counter eating the burnt ones! Even the manager saw it and said "You're not eating behind the counter, right?" but still didn't get up from her lunch .... ___ Today, two weeks later, we came back for lunch again. We wanted to order the bagel wrap sandwiches but we were told they didn't have any, despite having a big sandwich board advertising them outside the store. The employee taking our order interrupted us several times to chat with other employees and even walked away for a couple minutes, during which another employee took our order slip (with part of the order already written on it) and started taking down the order from the person behind us on it! I ordered a sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel, but while paying the employee behind the counter said they didn't have any pumpernickel bagels. When I pointed to the bin labeled "pumpernickel" with more than a dozen bagels in clear view, she said "But those have sesame seeds on them." I told her that was okay - they're still pumpernickel! My friend's turkey sandwich came without cheese, despite being asked what kind of cheese he wanted when we placed the order. And he wasn't asked if he wanted a drink while paying and had to ask for a drink. We also noticed that the employees weren't wearing gloves when making the sandwiches. And while we ate, at least two other people brought their orders back to the counter because of mistakes (items missing, bread not toasted). Before we finished our sandwiches, an employee came by and tried to take our trays away. So where was the manager with all this happening? Sitting at a table with another employee, eating lunch again... I've never had these kinds of experiences at the store in Weston!
